Installed     marmoleum flooring,  double pane LowE with Argon windows / fiberglass    exterior.  Energy Star appliances and roofing - white shingle. Installed           salvaged (Second Use) metal kitchen cabinets, hall cabinets, glulam beams for deck, electrical and plumbing fixtures, doors, nautical port light.  Reused original framing, cabinets, plywood and doors. Mechanical (WhisperGreen) and passive venting. 

Insulation:

R60+ ceiling (cellulose); R35+ walls (RMax and Fiberglass EcoBatts). PEX plumbing 'home run' system installed for energy efficiency and ease of repair. Dimmable LED and CFL lighting.  Curbless shower. Earth-quake retrofitted. Conduit for both  future PV solar and charger for electric car.

Indoor Air Quality:  

Low or no VOC finishes throughout. Heat system not air driven through        ducting.

South-facing windows, super insulated 

roof system, open rooms with glass doors for more light.
